FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves making conjunctiva incision within planned scleral flap with 1.5-2 mm long releasing notches in perpendicular to limb, in forming subscleral intraocular fluid discharge path. The conjunctiva is separated from the subconjunctival layer and excised within the superficial scleral flap. Then, superficial scleral flap is cut out and narrow triangular flap turned towards limb with its base is cut out from the deep sclera layers with ciliary body segment being exposed. 2-3 canals on each side are marked and cut out in perpendicular to triangular flap bed sides so that their external end protrude beyond the superficial scleral flap bed limits. The triangular flap is removed. Posterior wall of Schlemm's canal is removed. The superficial scleral flap is returned to its initial place and fixed with two interrupted sutures on limb along the scleral flap edges.
EFFECT: stable hypotensive operation result; increased subscleral space volume; hindered conjunctiva and sclera cohesion; increased filtration from subepiscleral space.
