FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: one should mark cutaneous segment of inferior eyelid. By leaving 0.5-1 mm against external adhesion one should dissect a wedge-shaped section of eyelid with its bottom at the edge of conjunctival-cartilaginous plate and its top directed towards lateral angle of eyelid. The length of dissected segment depends upon degree of pronounced inversion and corresponds to 3-6 mm. Resected edges should be coincided and fixed with prolen. External silk sutures are applied onto cutaneous incision. EFFECT: decreased traumaticity level and higher cosmetic effect of operation. 2 cl, 1 ex
