FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves doing horizontal incision beginning from nasal eyelid one-third to external eye angle and then downwards at some obtuse angle along wrinkle. Skin is separated to lower edge of orbit. Duplicature is formed in the area of lateral one-third of palpebral portion of orbicular muscle by placing interrupted sutures from unresorbable material. 2-6 coagulates are applied to the muscle between the sutures along duplicature line. Then, the separated skin flap is stretched in lateral direction and skin excess is excised.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; high stability of operation results; simplified postoperative aftercare; improved functional and cosmetical results.
