FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: two cutaneous-muscular cuts are performed at the level of eyelid adhesions, a canal is formed through the obtained access by separating the musculoskeletal layer from the anterior surface of the cartilaginous plate of the eyelid and from the periosteum around the cutaneous-muscular incisions. The transplant is conducted through the lateral incision using a conductor with a needle eye at the end, the transplant is placed in the canal. The transplant ends are fixed to the periosteum of the inner and outer orbital margins, 0.2-0.3 cm above the eyelids adhesions, followed by imposition of resorptive sutures on cutaneous and muscular incisions and non-resorptive sutures on cutaneous incisions. Meshed polypropylene non-absorbable endoprosthesis modified with a polyhydroxyalkanoate coating is used as a transplant.
EFFECT: method allows to guarantee long-term effect due to application of polypropylene non-dissolving endoprosthesis, good biocompatibility due to biodegradable coating.
