DISINFECTING AND STERILIZING AGENT Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes disinfecting agent of the following composition, wt.-%: glyoxal, 5-15; cation-active surface-active substance, 1-10; non-ionogenic surface-active substance 1-15; phthalocyanine dye, 0.001-0.05; water, the balance. Agent provides high bactericidal effect and sterilizing effect is attained using agent in significant reduction of concentration of working solution (from 20% in the known agent to 6% in proposed agent) and exposition time (from 10 h in the known agent to 3 h in proposed agent). Agent doesn't require preliminary washing out article of medicinal designation and doesn't spoil treatable materials. Invention provides preparing agent used for disinfection of articles of medicinal designation, surfaces in compartments, sanitary-technical equipments in infections of bacterial, viral and fungal etiology in curative- prophylactic institutes, in objects of municipal service and in homes and for sterilization of articles of medicinal designation also.
