FIELD: preliminary mixing of materials before separation. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is used for mixing different materials when first material contains mixture of two or more heterogeneous components. Proposed method excludes forming of homogeneous mixture from two materials in hydraulic cyclone before separation of two heterogeneous components of first material. Device proposed for realization of this method includes hydraulic cyclone for aeration or saturation of flow with gas owing to which oleophilic or other admixtures contained in waste water in form of particles are entrapped by air or gas bubbles before separation of oil or other admixtures from water. Hydraulic cyclone is used as mixer. EFFECT: improved quality of separation; enhanced efficiency. 18 cl, 1 dwg
