FIELD: metallurgy; agglomeration of particles.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of metallurgy, in particular, to agglomeration of particles. The method includes two alternatives In one of the alternatives the particles contained in serial portions of a gas stream are charged with a counter polarity, and the gas stream is fed in Evaze's chamber for decreasing its speed. In another alternative a gas stream is divided into substreams in the corresponding collateral passes and the particles in adjacent passes charge with a counter polarity. In the device for realization of the method the deflectors placed in the area of the lower in the flow direction end of the passes cause mixing of the substreams of the counter polarity particles, that results in an agglomeration of the counter polarity particles. The invention ensures a more efficient removal of particles of a dust and other impurities at the agglomeration.
