CONVEYER SEPARATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: separation of finely-dispersed mixtures containing magnetic and non-magnetic particles and moisture into fractions. SUBSTANCE: proposed separator includes closed magnetic circuit made in form of plating assembled from magnetic plates at adjustable magnetic field on tractive member of conveyer separator; its lower run is adjustably located at angle to level in chute. Bottom if chute is made in form of box with lower plane and side and end walls made from dense material and with upper plane made from liquid- and airpermeable material; it is connected with working medium source by means of branch pipe. Sides of chute are made from non-magnetic material and are provided with longitudinal bevels at angle of 3 deg. to level on side of discharge of non-magnetic material. Plate conveyer is embraced in vertical plane by tractive member (made from non-magnetic material) of scraper conveyer with scrapers made from non-magnetic material secured on it. Loading point is made at the beginning of chute, point of unloading non-magnetic particles is located at opposite end of chute and point of unloading magnetic particles is located in head part of plate conveyer and is provided with scraper. EFFECT: simplified construction; reduced mass and overall dimensions. 3 dwg
