FIELD: chemical industry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: mixture of gases containing BF3, F2 and HF is subjected for contact with CaF2 at 373- 523 K to yield fluoroborate complex CaF2•BF3. and unreacted F2 and HF are removed from sorption column. After saturation of sorbent desorption of BF3 is carried out at 623-773 K. Regenerated CaF2 is used in repeated cycles of extraction of BF3. Trapping degree of BF3 is 90%, not less, residual content of boron in sorbent is 0.05-0.1 wt.-%. Invention can be used for separation of boron isotopes. Invention provides exclusion of equipment corrosion and sorbent melting. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced economy. 1 dwg, 1 ex
