FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for maintaining vacuum by absorbing molecules of gases in closed volumes. Proposed pump contains double-walled container with vacuum multiplelayer heat insulation placed between outer and inner walls and consisting of alternating reflecting screens with smooth metallized surface provided with metallized coating from both sides. Adsorbent is secured on inner wall. Layers are made of polyethylene terephthalate film with rough surface. Reflecting screen of heat insulation is connected with inner wall by spacers made of low heat conduction material forming clearance between adsorbent and reflecting screen. EFFECT: improved evacuation characteristics owing to reduction of heat flows through heat insulation. 1 dwg
