FIELD: production of finned tubes for cooling apparatuses or containers designed to store spent fuel of nuclear reactors. SUBSTANCE: proposed process of manufacture of heat exchange tube includes insertion of core and fins into tubular billet. Longitudinal grooves are made in advance in internal surface of billet and external surface of hollow core, fins are separately produced bent, then core is fixed and tubular billet is oriented with reference to core so that longitudinal grooves are set with displacement through angle α, one relative another, fins are entered into grooves of billet and core, billet is turned to complete take-up of angle α, which is found from condition where R1 is outer diameter of core; r1 is radius of groove in external surface of core; R2 is inner radius of billet; r2 is radius of groove in internal surface of billet; L is cross- section distance between extreme points of fin contacting core and billet. Thereupon billet is fixed relative to core and initial fixing of core is removed. Claimed invention makes it possible to form elastic deformation in fins which ensure lack of clearances between core and tubular billet which in its turn enables required heat conduction between contacting parts to be created. EFFECT: efficient heat transfer, enhanced adaptability to manufacture and reduced labor input and usage of materials. 2 dwg
