FIELD: hydrocyclone simulating devices. SUBSTANCE: device has common sealed transparent casing filled with liquid and divided by means of partition into delivery and drain compartments intercommunicating through air and drain ducts provided in partition and hydrocyclone with bin for sludge disposal; hydrocyclone is built in partition and its tangential inlet hole communicates with drain duct; cleaned liquid outlet pipe communicates with drain cavity through additional drain duct provided in partition; bin has bottom slit providing its communication with drain cavity; top part of bin is connected to air duct inlet made in the form of water seal. Liquid may have in its composition fragments of aluminum and solid color balls whose diameter is greater than width of bin slit. Device may be also provided with scale attached to bin.
