FIELD: recovery of high-activity solutions formed in spent nuclear fuel reconditioning. SUBSTANCE: device that functions to regulate liquid waste solidification process has drum for sorbent saturation and calcination. Drum is overhung from rotor on half-axle; it is offset relative to drive axis and disposed on turning platform that holds it in tilted condition in two positions one being working position and other, discharge position. Drum orifice is closed with fixed lid set at small clearance. Lid mounts halide lamp-heater base. Lamp placed in quartz bulb is disposed inside drum. Circular gate made in the form of disks with opposing slits is mounted in orifice on inner surface of drum. EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated maintenance and operation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
