SUBSTANCE: metal-encased air-insulated medium-voltage switchgear has collecting bus compartment designed for mounting through support insulators whose number depends on phase number with one connection to collecting buses and one junction compartment for mounting through-type transformers whose number depends on phase number with one cable lead-in. Collecting bus compartment and junction compartment are isolated by bearing metal plate of support insulator and that of transformer so that through support insulators and through-type transformers are spaced apart and positioned as mirror images of one another, one on top of other, as compact plug-in functional modules of medium- voltage switchgear.
