FIELD: fire-extinguishing compositions, particularly to extinguish Class B, C and E fires. SUBSTANCE: method of production involves separate drying of fire extinguishing composition components; simultaneous mixing and powdering of the components. The composition includes waterproofing fine additive having bulk density not more than 200 kg/sq.m. and moisture content not more than 0.35 wt %, namely Aerosil, carbon white, chamotte-kaolin powder, mica scraps, talcum powder. Additive content is 0.5 - 4.5 wt%. Silica, aluminosilicates and silicates, alkali metal and alkaline-earth metal carbonates are added to increase composition fluidity in concentration of 35.0 - 70.0 wt%. Composition main component is fire-extinguishing agent, namely sodium bicarbonate, alkali metal and alkaline-earth metal sulfates and phosphates. Main component content is added up to 100 wt%. EFFECT: increased Class B fire extinguishing rate with enhanced operational performance, improved thermostability of fire extinguishing composition, low corrosiveness to equipment materials. 7 cl, 1 tbl
