FIELD: manufactures of filters used for performing quantitative chemical analysis and other laboratory work; chemical, biological and mining industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes determination of appearance of paper, volume of cut blanks and lots, marking paper rolls and laying of blanks for cutting filters followed by cutting filters, determination of their neutrality and determination of mass of water and content of fatty agents. After cutting paper, sheets are stacked in piles, 50 to 52 sheets in each pile and their surfaces are smoothed, after which 2-3 streaks of adhesive are applied to side surface of each pile and inserts are placed between them. For smoothing paper surface, use is made of compensator. EFFECT: reduction of reject; improved quality. 5 cl, 1 tbl
