FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparing polyamides from dicarboxylic acid monomers and diamine monomers. Invention relates to method for preparing polyamides that does not require addition of water to reagents. Invention describes method for preparing polyamide from dicarboxylic acid monomer and diamine monomer that involves the following stages: (a) mixing melted dicarboxylic acid monomer and melted diamine monomer taken in equimolar amounts to yield melted reaction mass; (b) passing reaction mixture through at least one non-ventilating reactor being time of stay of reaction mixture into at least one such non-ventilating reactor is from 0.01 min to 30 min and formation the first product flow that contains polyamide and polymerization water; and (c) passing the first product flow through at least one ventilating reactor used for removing polymerization water and forming the second product flow that contains polyamide. Method can be carried out continuously without obligatory addition of water to dicarboxylic acid, diamine or reaction mixture. Except for, invention describes method for continuous melting dicarboxylic acid and continuous method for preparing nylon 6,6 from adipic acid and hexamethylenediamine.
