TRACK MACHINE TIE-TAMPING SET Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: railway transport. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and repair of railways, particularly, to ballast consolidation. Proposed set is mounted on frame of track machine for displacement in vertical plane under action of hydraulic cylinder. It contains bedframe, vibrodrive, at least four levers carrying tie-tamping tools which are hinge-coupled in pairs on bedframe by their by their middle parts and are displaced by means of power clamping-releasing hydraulic cylinders. Said levers are hinge-connected by their upper forked parts with eyes of power hydraulic cylinders so that lever of outer tie tamping tool of first pair is connected with lever of outer tie tamping tool of second pair, and lever of inner tie tamping tool of first pair is connected with lever of inner tie tamping tool of second pair. Upper forked parts of outer and inner tie tamping tools differ in length and correspond to inversely proportional relationship between moments of forces of hydraulic cylinders on upper axles of levers and working areas of corresponding power hydraulic cylinders at tamping stroke. Common vibrodrive is mechanically coupled with two eccentric shafts passing through middle parts of articulated levers of tie-tamping tools connected in pairs.
