FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to differential screw drives and it can be used in testing facilities for tensile tests of samples at constant deformation velocity. Housing of differential mechanism accommodates nut, screw installed for axial displacement, mechanical gearing including two pairs of gear wheels coupling screw with nut. Two pairs of gear wheels are made in form of twin orthogonal nonhypoid train. Cylindrical wheel located on screw and cylindrical wheel located on nut are mated through solid flat wheel with toothed rims. Wheels of orthogonal nonhypoid trains have the following number of teeth: screw-mounted wheel (z-1), rim of flat wheel in meshing with screw-mounted wheel - z; nut-mounted wheel -z; rim of flat wheel in meshing with nut-mounted wheel (z+1) where z is natural number within the range from 12 to 99. invention provides long-time reverse superslow displacements of working member.
