METHOD FOR CREATING SMALL-TO-LARGE INTESTINE ANASTOMOSIS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2217082 C2

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves making end-to-end invagination ileotransversoanastomosis. Intestine resection is carried out by transecting intestines with electric knife and connecting intestine edges by means of electrocoagulation treatment. The small intestine is invaginated into the large one using triple reciprocating suture. Continuous reciprocating sutures are applied in series to posterior and anterior anastomosis walls. Anastomosed organs lumens are smoothed using counter- palpation after tying threads of the third suture of the posterior surface and the first suture of the anterior surface of the organs under anastomosis. The first and the last outward pierces of reciprocating suture are done on the large intestine. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in creating areflux invagination anastomosis modeling ileocecal valve operation. 3 dwg
