FIELD: separation of suspensions, Newtonian and non-Newtonian liquids, solutions and melts of polymers, paints, varnishes, petroleum products, oils and cross-linked liquids; chemical, petrochemical, automobile transport, medical, food-processing and other industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has housing with cover and bottom, starting liquid and clarified liquid chambers provided with branch pipes, filtering baffle in form of cylindrical shell and shaft with rotor which is mounted axisymmetrically relative to cylindrical shell forming starting liquid chamber; outer diameter of rotor is equal to 0.85-0.94 of inner diameter of cylindrical shell; side surface of rotor is smoothly perforated and clarified liquid chamber is located on the outside of cylindrical shell. EFFECT: increased rate of filtering and output of filter due to reduced hydraulic resistance of sediment and effective viscosity of non-Newtonian and cross-linked liquids. 1 dwg
