FIELD: classification of materials by size. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal classifier includes body accommodating rotating separating surface in form of accelerating disk with rods rigidly secured over its periphery to form radial wedge-like slots widening in direction of treated material motion. Classifier has through cylinder installed for reciprocation for selection of needed fractions and connected with branch pipe. Coaxially located inside cylinder is distributing device with vertical set of truncated cones oriented with their small bases toward separating surface and arranged with their small bases reducing in direction from separating surface to discharge branch pipes. EFFECT: higher efficiency of material classification within wide range of sizes. 2 dwg
