FIELD: separating solids from solids.

SUBSTANCE: vertical separator-transporter comprises charging device, vertical transporting passage, vertical separating members with wedge-shaped openings whose width increases from top to bottom, movable load-bearing member made of a plate that moves in the guides by means of a control device, guiding shelves, and collectors for fractions delivered through the separating members. The separating members are staggered in vertical direction in the movable load-bearing members. The load-bearing members are arranged over the opposite sides of the transporting passage. The deflectors are secured to the movable plates directly under the separating members. The deflecting shelves are mounted one under the other and form a Z-shaped passage together with the separating members . The passage is used for flowing the product. The shelves are secured to the rollers pivotally connected with the unmovable walls of the transporting passage. The control devices can operate independently.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reduced sizes.
