SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of shaping blank and simultaneously forming corrugations in its flange portion for further smoothing of them; forming corrugations in groove on surface of clamp in the form of Archimedean spiral; before smoothing corrugations rotating blank relative to lower clamp by angle at which corrugations or part of them are arranged on flat portion of clamp between grooves. EFFECT: simplified system for performing the method, lowered drawing effort, increased height of drawn articles. 2 cl, 1 dwg
