FIELD: plastic working of metals.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes punch with unit for step motion of it and blank holder, both arranged in housing and discharge chamber. Unit for step motion of punch is connected with control system providing punch motion during pauses between loading pulses and it includes screw - nut pair having screw that supports punch coaxially mounted in it.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness due to mechanized process for discrete motion of punch.
