FIELD: forest and wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: the machine has a frame including the left-hand and right-hand guides on which the load-carrying structure is moving, sawing frame mounted as a cantilever on the load-carrying structure for vertical motion, mechanism for fixing the sawing frame in the preset position, and a drive for moving the load- carrying structure on the frame. The sawing frame consists of a framework vertically mounted on which are the driving and driven pulleys with the saw blade. The framework is mounted on the lead screw of the load-carrying structure. Fastened on the framework is an electric motor connected to the driving pulley by means of a V-belt transmission. The mechanism for fixing the sawing frame has a guide with an arc-shaped groove and a rod, the guide is fastened on the framework, one end of the rod is fastened on the load-carrying structure, and the other freely passes through a flanged bushing with a male thread engaged with a flanged bushing with a female thread that is installed in a groove for slip and also fastened on the load-carrying structure. A scale with divisions is applied on the guide surface for setting the preset angle. EFFECT: reduced consumption of power and enhanced capacity. 2 cl, 5 dwg
