FIELD: space industry, manned spacecrafts crew life-support. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to provision of life support of crews of hermetically sealed objects, for example, crews of the orbiting spacecrafts, orbit stations, particularly it relates to the systems of drinking water preparation. The method of water conditioning provides that mineral salts are sequentially introduced in the low- mineralized water. Then the water is passed through a column with anionite exchanger in the bicarbonate form and activated charcoal for its sterilization. At that the mineral salts are introduced as solutions at a ratio of the salt solutions administering to the water flow speed as 1/10- 1/30, and sterilization is executed by a solution of silver sulfite.
