FIELD: chemical and glass production industry. SUBSTANCE: invention presents the sphere of production of the optical elements, the reflecting interference filters and glass surfacing, and in particular, the laminated items having the base from a glass and a multi-layer coating made from the specified material and having different composition: from an organic material, oxides, metals and the non-metals applied mainly by deposition from a gaseous medium. The anti-reflecting optical multi-layer coating is manufactured with the alternating layers having high and low indexes of the light refraction. At least, one of the alternating layers is made of non-structuralizing carbon, which is composite and contains distributed in the volume pores with the size of 1-10 nm in the total amount of 10-60 %, or it may be multi-layered made of amorphous carbon sp- and/or sp2- and/or sp3- hybridized states. At that the non-structuralizing carbon layer additionally contains bound atoms from the line: hydrogen, oxygen, fluorine, nitrogen. EFFECT: the offered technology allows to produce more functional engineering interferential coating on the equal substrates, thinner and without increase of a coefficient of reflection; the has stable (invariable) parameters as intended at a different physical modes of operation, because its multi-layer structure consists of one carbon material, that determines absence of any diffusion processes on boundaries of separation of the non- structuralizing carbon layers. 3 cl, 10 dwg
