FIELD: polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dispersion prepared by emulsion polymerization of fluoropolymers with different size of particles. Dispersion contains at least one fluoropolymer A representing inprocessible polytetrafluoroethylene or its copolymers from melt with average size of particles at least 200 nm and at least one fluoropolymer B with average size of particles 100 nm, not above. Component B is thermoplast based on copolymers of polytetrafluoroethylene and the combined dispersion shows nonmodal distribution of diameter of particles. Invention relates also to method for preparing dispersion. Invention allows preparing coatings with less porosity and greater breakdown dielectric strength. Cohesiveness with substrate and first of all with porous surfaces and articles is improved also. EFFECT: valuable properties of dispersion. 16 cl, 2 ex
