SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for separation of fluoro-containing emulsifier from an aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion prepared by an aqueous emulsion polymerization of fluorinated monomer and, if necessary, co-monomer or co-monomers in the presence of fluoro-containing emulsifier. Method involves addition of effective amount of non-ionic emulsifier to dispersion with the content of solid substance at least 10 wt.-% for its stabilization and for separation of fluoro-containing emulsifier the stabilized dispersion is stirred with anion-exchange resin, dispersion is separated from anion-exchange resin and, if necessary, the prepared by such way dispersion is concentrated, Also, invention relates to an aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion. Invention provides preparing an aqueous fluoropolymer dispersion that is essentially free of fluoro-containing emulsifier.
