FIELD: pulp and paper industry, production of cellulose for papers and paperboard of different purpose. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of cellulose for papers and paperboard of different purpose and can be used in a wood-pulp and paper industry. In waste wood they add the cooking liquor consisting of 30% acetic acid, 35% hydrogen peroxide and the catalyst of titanium dioxide. The reaction mixture is exposed to ultraviolet activation for 5-20 minutes. Then the reaction mixture cooking is executed at a molar ratio of hydrogen peroxide to acetic acid equal to 0.3-0.7 and a water duty equal to10:1-15:1. EFFECT: decrease of a lignin share and the cellulose semi-finished products quality upgrading. 2 cl, 4 tbl, 39 ex
