FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reduction gears and it can be used for adjusting axial clearances in antifriction bearings. Proposed device contains two inserted covers, one of which is in direct contact with bearing outer race, and the other is in contact wire race through intermediate element installed for displacement. Intermediate element is made in form of ring whose end mated with thrust shoulder of inserted cover has screw surface. Thrust shoulder of inserted cover is provided, in its turn, with the surface of end face similar to surface on end face of ring. Inserted cover is installed in housing hole for turning around longitudinal axis and locking in hole, and ring is installed in hole of housing only for longitudinal displacement and is limited in turning. EFFECT: increased reliability of adjustment of axial clearance in antifriction bearings, prevention of oil leakage. 3 cl, 8 dwg
