FIELD: oil and gas producing industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipe fittings and it can be used for cutting off flow of working liquids at cementing of wells and carrying out other washing and pumping-through operations in oil and gas wells. Proposed ball cock contains body with inlet and outlet branch pipes, ball plug with central through channel, inlet and outlet seats spring-loaded relative to ball plug, and spindle mated with ball plug. Partition with cylindrical blind bore is installed in inlet branch pipe. Bore accommodates inlet seat. Row of ring through holes is made over periphery of partition. Said holes do not coincide with central through channel of ball plug. Additional channels are made in ball plug. These channels connect body space with central channel. Hole is made square to central through channel. Hollow bushing with sealing rings is fitted in said hole. EFFECT: reduced drive torque at high pressure of working medium, facilitated servicing of cock. 3 dwg
