SUBSTANCE: ball valve relates to valve industry and can be used in performance of works on development of nuclear power plants for underwater power complex, in installations with water-to-water power reactors as localizing reinforcement of the second circuit, as well as in cranes at main oil pipelines, gas pipelines, at power complex enterprises, oil refining and chemical industry. Object of the proposed invention is to increase reliability and service life. Technical result is achieved by the fact that secondary seals of seats are made in form of corrugated membranes of different diameters, wherein shutoff device is a valve, which is formed by contact of sealing surface located on rod, and mating sealing surface on housing cover, wherein valve closes channel of hydraulic connection of inlet branch pipe with cavity formed by housing, ball plug and seats, in closed position of valve, besides, one of seats can be made in form of throttle.

EFFECT: technical result is development of ball valve with reduced torque, which makes it possible to turn ball plug relative to seats without wear during opening and closing and, therefore, to maintain tightness on working medium.
