FIELD: construction; repair of pipelines with replacement of defective section. SUBSTANCE: device is furnished with power set of stringers and movable adjustable stops made for displacement relative to each other and subsequent locking in position. Clamps are mounted on ends of section to be removed. Stringers are passed through hole in lugs of one of clamps and movable stops are mounted on stringers, one by one. Stringers are passed through holes of lugs of second clamp. Clamps are secured on pipeline by locking device. After cutting out and removing defective section, new "spool" is mounted and aligned and then is connected with pipeline by welding. EFFECT: enlarged range of means. 1 dwg
