SUBSTANCE: proposed electrode-type heater has housing with heat exchanger and hermetic heating chamber filled with intermediate heat-transfer agent and equipped with electrodes and communicated with compensating reservoir; additional reservoir is provided between heating chamber and compensating reservoir; it is located below heating chamber and its volume exceeds volume of heating chamber. Compensating reservoir is communicated with atmosphere through steam condenser. EFFECT: enhanced operational stability in transient modes; reduced expenses. 2 cl, 1 dwg
