FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: heater has casing 1 with heating chamber 2 electrically insulated from it and partially filled with an intermediate heat-transfer agent. The heating chamber has electrodes 3 and heat exchanger 4 located in the gas volume of the chamber which communicates with compensating tank 5 and branch pipe 6. The branch pipe is located at an angle for condensate draining. Normally open thermosensitive valve 7 is mounted in the branch pipe. Compensating tank 5 communicates with the atmosphere through condenser 8 made in the form of a tubular spiral. EFFECT: improved structure. 2 cl, 2 dwg
