FIELD: heat- and mass- exchange apparatus; cooling tower sprinklers. SUBSTANCE: sheet has flat section on upper edge and sinusoidal corrugations with projections located along sheet; flat section on upper edge of sheet has longitudinal stiffener; sinusoidal corrugations are made in form of two or more sections at opposite angles of inclination to level; these angles reduce in upward direction at retained height "h" and width "b"; angle reduce at tops and recesses; projections of corrugations are horizontal; lower sections of corrugations terminate in closed or semi-closed rhombs or in corrugated slot with parallel walls. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency; reduced resistance of sprinkler. 6 dwg
