FIELD: measuring technique, possibly navigation measurements. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes cylindrical housing, symmetrical non-magnetic solid body, toroidal magnet, electromagnet power source, control unit, pickup for measuring displacement of non-magnetic solid body in east direction, pickup for detecting touching of non-magnetic solid body and horizontal platform. Toroidal electromagnet is mounted in cylindrical housing. In annular gap between cylindrical housing and toroidal electromagnet one annular elastic member is arranged or N similar elastic members spaced by the same distance one from another are arranged (N = 3 - 10). Horizontal platform (armature) is arranged on annular elastic member or on similar elastic members with possibility of reciprocation motion in vertical gap over electromagnet. Said horizontal platform is made of magnetic material, non-magnetic symmetrical solid body is freely arranged on it. Said symmetrical body may move following motion of horizontal platform when it moves downwards and together with said platform when it moves vertically upwards. Toroidal magnet is electrically connected with power source of electromagnet which is connected with control unit. One inlet of control unit is connected with pickup for detecting displacement of symmetrical non-magnetic solid body in east direction; its other inlet is connected with pickup for detecting touching of non-magnetic symmetrical solid body and horizontal platform.
