FIELD: nuclear power engineering; production of metal plutonium and mixed uranium-plutonium oxide fuel. SUBSTANCE: apparatus is made in the form of horizontal tube divided into three compartments: charging compartment 1, heated reaction compartment 2, and discharging compartment 3. These compartments can be brought into intercommunication or isolated with aid of sealed gate valves 4, 5. Charging and discharging compartments are isolated from atmosphere by means of sealed lids 6, 7. Troughs 8 are provided for displacing products inside apparatus. The latter is provided with evaporator 9 feeding carbon tetrachloride vapors to reaction compartment. EFFECT: enhanced capacity of apparatus. 2 cl, 3 dwg
