FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of biologically active additives for functional- destination food products and provides a method wherein sea-buckthorn fruit are passed through pulping machine or squeezer, dense fraction is separated from liquid fraction (juice), and dried at 80-85 C to moisture level 10-15%. Separation of seeds gives desired product. Additive shows following characteristics, wt %: moisture 10-15, solids 80-90 including lipids 40-50, proteins 6-8, cellulose 20-23, pectin 4-8, total sugar 8-10, and, mg%: carotinoids 120-150, tocopherols 70-100, bioflavonoids 410-460, and vitamin C 500-700. EFFECT: enlarged assortment of biologically active additives from vegetable oil-containing raw materials and preserved most valuable sea-buckthorn components (lipids and vitamins). 2 tbl
