LINK MOTION CONVERTER Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medical equipment; applicable in traumatology, orthopedics and other surgical technologies, particularly, in apparatuses for processing of bone tissues. SUBSTANCE: motion converter has rotating link and includes accommodated in body actuating link gear and actuating members connected to actuating link gear. Members are intended for setting in motion of changeable cutting tools. Actuating link gear has rocker on link. Connected to rocker are connecting rods which in their turn are connected to actuating members. Axes of connecting rods in static state are parallel to rocker axis. Actuating link gear is made on base of rotating link and connected through intermediate member and spindle with drive. Use of offered link motion converter extends technological potentialities of surgical tools, provides convenience in device application due to excluded vibrations of tool in surgeon's hands in performance of operations an biological bone tissues and ensures realization of reciprocating motion of device cutting tool towards each other.
