FIELD: pulp-and- paper industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves filtering, cleaning and thickening of paper pulp produced from waste paper, and clarifying filtrate, with mentioned procedures being effectuated in single apparatus 1 positioned for rotation at high speed; introducing paper pulp through center 2 of apparatus to provide for displacement thereof at angular speed; feeding paper pulp longitudinally of grid 6 with small-sized openings allowing fibers to be separated from major part of water; removing thickened paper pulp through discharge openings 8; clarifying water in clarifying zone 12 and providing recirculation thereof; discharging solid components separated from water through discharge openings 20 and providing recirculation or removal thereof depending on purpose of utilization. More complete versions of apparatus have functions of fractionation, cleaning from contaminants and cleaning of paper with the use of slits or openings. EFFECT: reduced consumption of power and chemical products, and reduced production costs. 23 cl, 6 dwg
