FIELD: gas, petroleum, chemical and other allied industries. SUBSTANCE: invention presents a method of a gas and a liquid contact for realization of the heat and the mass exchange processes in the gas-liquid systems. The method may find application in gas, petroleum, chemical and some other allied industries, in particular, in operation of rectifying and absorbing columns, purification absorbers, absorbers of sanitation and drying of hydrocarbon gases. The method applies the counter-current contacting of a liquid and a gas, distribution of a gas streams on the surfaces of sheets in parallel to the inclined flows of a liquid and directing these streams in the mirror reflection on the surface of the adjacent sheets, arrangement on the surface of the sheets of irregular (undulatory) gas streams directed at an angle to the gas and liquid streams, organization in the places of intersection of two gas streams with inclined streams of takeoff liquid and its contacting with the gas. In the places of the liquid takeoff fluctuations of the inclined liquid streams are arranged by two inclined gas streams.
