FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sorption equipment and can be used in means of collective and individual protection of human respiratory organs. The adsorbent for protective means constitutes a mechanical mixture of two components, wherein the first part in the amount of 60% vol. comprises, as ingredients, activated carbon, applied whereto are copper compounds expressed in terms of copper 4.5 to 7.0% wt., chromium compounds expressed in terms of chromium 1.2 to 2.2% wt., caustic soda 2.5 to 5.0% wt., and triethylenediamine 0.3 to 1.0% wt., and the second part in the amount of 40% vol. comprises activated carbon with a mass fraction of copper sulphate of 6 to 9% wt.
EFFECT: creation of an adsorbent for protective means, with a high time of protective action for organic vapours, inorganic gases and vapours, ammonia vapours and poorly absorbent substances, not reducing the adsorption capacity in long-term storage in humid conditions.
