FIELD: railway transport; track facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of mechanization of ballast cleaning process out of track sections. Proposed mobile ballast cleaning plant contains frame, ballast cleaning mechanism including head conveyor with mesh belt and pull chains, and ballast agitator. According to invention, frame is secured inside box-car, mesh belt pull chains of conveyor are furnished additionally with steps arranged lengthwise the mesh belt at preset pitch for engaging of mesh belt in motion with ballast agitator made in form of spatial frame hinge-secured on plant frame over carrying run of mesh belt for free turning in vertical plane at contact with steps. Disk blocks are freely suspended from frame and are set under carrying run of mesh belt, length of disk blocks being equal to length of mesh belt active width . EFFECT: improved quality of ballast cleaning at considerable reduction of power consumption. 4 dwg
