FIELD: drilling equipment, application of technological compositions, for instance, drilling mud, containing solid phase on to walls of well. SUBSTANCE: gear has tubular body with radial drain noses, branch pipe with slot-like holes positioned coaxially inside body and vortex generator. The latter comes in the form of separable bushing made of hardalloy material with jet- swirling deflectors located on its internal generating line, circular guide with throttling noses and ducts directed tangentially on to internal generating line of bushing and joined to it with seals and fixing ring. Re-distribution of solid phase of drilling mud takes place in tubular body of gear thanks to centrifugal forces while drilling mud is pumped through. Solid phase of drilling mud concentrates on internal generating line of body and clarified solution is formed in center of flow. Solid portion of pulp flows into string clearance, interacts with wall of well and strengthens and grouting it with mud and clarified portion goes to drilling bit raising mechanical speed of well drilling. Vortex generator is made of three parts which secures its functional endurance as any part of it can be replaced with new part to maintain serviceability of vortex generator as whole. EFFECT: enhanced mud grouting action owing to increased separation effect of solid phase of drilling mud, prolonged service life of gear. 3 dwg
