FIELD: heat-power engineering; sootless burning of fuel. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is performed by separate delivery of fuel with air and superheated steam to burner unit. Upon obtaining soot flame, superheated steam is delivered to it for heating burner unit. After heating the burner unit, air delivery to burner unit is fully or partially shut-off and superheated steam gasifies carbon (soot) to synthesis gas which is evacuated from burner unit for after- burning.
