FIELD: heating thermal equipment; heat and thermochemical treatment. SUBSTANCE: proposed electric furnace includes furnace unit electric heaters, gas supply line, lower and upper gas distributing grates forming gas preparation cavity which is filled with catalyst and working zone with fluidized bed. Mounted in furnace unit is additional controllable hearth heater which is connected to thermocouple mounted in gas preparation cavity. Mounted under upper gas distributing grate is heat-insulating partition separating gas preparation cavity and working zone. EFFECT: possibility of performing simultaneously different heat and thermo-chemical treatment processes. 2 cl, 2 dwg
