FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: items are processed by gas thermal or chemical-thermal treatment in "boiling layer" of nano-structured catalyst. Also the treated item is placed into a heated crucible with a catalyst and gas-air mixture is supplied through a gas distributing device with a block of sprayers in a bottom part of the crucible. A boiling layer is created around the treated item. Fumes are exhausted via a channel in the crucible cover. Successively fumes are after-burned. Gas-air mixture is supplied at angle to vertical axis of crucible by means of similarly directed sprayers.
EFFECT: raised efficiency of items processing.
